Privacy policy

Mase Labs is a sole proprietorship operating as Mase Labs (“Mase Labs,” “we,” or “Folio”). Folio is being prepared for a Shopify store test. This page describes the intended service data handling; Folio is not currently accepting store or buyer data.

Data the service will handle

When enabled, Folio will process Shopify store identifiers, order identifiers and status, and purchase order PDFs uploaded by buyers. It will also process technical request data needed to authenticate app requests and prevent abuse. Folio does not need to read the contents of PDFs to provide file attachment and status tracking.

Use and service providers

Data is used to provide order-document collection, status tracking, support, security, and billing. Shopify provides the commerce platform. A hosted PostgreSQL service will store order records and document data. Data will not be sold or used for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Order and document records will be retained while the Shopify merchant uses Folio. Merchants may request deletion or removal of the app by contacting support. We will delete associated records within 30 days, except data we must retain by law.

Access and security

Folio is designed to associate files with the Shopify shop and order they belong to. Access is limited to the merchant's authorized app use. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; report suspected issues to support.

Your choices

Buyers should contact the store that placed the order to request access or deletion of their purchase order document. Merchants can contact Mase Labs for app data requests.
